Soup and Snow that is always white

I know we appreciate the moisture, and are grateful for it once the floods of spring have turned to lush green fields and vibrant wild flowers yet there is a lot of it and it is always white. Sometimes to be sure it is sparkling and dazzling like diamonds and sometimes it captures the grey blue reflection of the winter sky and once in a while it is stained yellow from a passing dog -- still it is white, white, white, white!

Is there a reason that our world must turn white in the winter? Have you seen the shades of green God has given us? (My heart is in Ireland and I can assure you part of the reason is the million shades of green.) Why is white, white? I don't mean off white or cream variances -- I mean white is just that white. But then through the clouds and snow the sun shows itself and hands out a ray of sun, showing us the rainbow of color reflected in the white. Then though the world still looks mostly white I see a bit of why white is white because it is all colors taking the rest of winter offered by the season. Soon the white will melt spreading itself across the cold dark ground soak into roots and produce a rainbow of colors includeing the green of growth. i get it and can't wait . . . til then white white white! to hear more of this mindless prattle visit www.planetarystreams.com to hear our radio show weekdays at 2 pm EST!

I am so glad God gave us Sunday's to rejoice and relax! How I appreciate that! Yesterday we relaxed after working all weekend on the launch of our new Internet Communications Company, Planetary Streams. I was so tired after working that I threw a yummy dinner in the crockpot and crawled back into bed!
Crawl Back into Bed Sunday Dinner
1/2 - 1 lbs. lean meat
1 can green beans
1 can enchilada auce
1 can spiced beans
1 bag of carrot sticks (needed to be used from by refrigerator drawer)
1 bag frozen mixed veggies
1 can stewed tomtoes
Diced garlic (from oversized jar in fridge)
Start the crock pot on low and go back to bed!!!!!!!!!!!
How much snow do you think we have now? Total left almost 6 feet and that is not accumulative or we would be over 10 feet I am sure! See these photos! You would think we would be tired of watching TV & Radio by Sunday but the snain, what I call snow and rain, joined with the winds and was pummeling our home, so we watched the Oscars. It was cold, dark, nasty and none of us wanted to leave the house. We curled up in blankets and listened to all of the thank yous and critiqued the dresses. My favorite Academy Award Dress was Helen Mirrens and Nicole Kidman’s necklace. We love John Travolta dancing in and we wondered what was wrong with Owen Wilson. All and all a fairly entertaining evening though really we are partial to Home Makeover which has enough human compassion and love in it that you don’t feel quite so bad about the world when you are done watching it!

Well today marks the day before the big launch of the Planetary Vision powered by Planetary Streams at www.planetarystreams.com. It’s an internet communications company specializing in Talk TV & Radio for website and we have a lot of FREE offerings any website owner will love! We are also launching the Bluebird Sisterhood and celebrating the Grapevine Talk Radio Networks 3rd Birthday this week along with Festivus! www.grapevineradio.com, www.healthywealthywow.com Join us!

Forgotten day with icicles, bluebirds, monkeys and peanutbutter banana

Yesterday I kind of thought it was Monday, a typical President's Holiday mistake. I missed all kinds of Tuesday appointments and even forgot to make dinner -- Monday's we get take out! It was a beautiful day though as my kids were home for Winterim I got them off the computer and away from video games to sit on the front porch in the sun.

We watched the snow icicles dripping from our 5+ feet of snow in our front garden. Drip drip drip and then we got hot in the sun -- something that hasn't happened since October. I broke out the water colors and we painted -- me of course the blue birds and my son a self-portrait. His looked like a monkey so surprizingly accurate really.

I made them peanut butter and honey banana sandwiches and well it was like a pre-spring break. My Maddy (13) said, "We are soaking up the Vitamin D, we will all be less grumpy now." And indeed she was right, we were cheerier til later when of course I found out it hadn't been Monday after all. Still I wouldn't trade that day for the world! Please join our Healthy Wealthy Wow What Women Want Radio Show every day at NOON mst and share you grand forgotten day experiences on the Grapevine Talk Radio Network byt logging on to www.planetarystreams.com.
